Speculation on location begins in 3...2...1...

In the "Alien Encounter" building at MK! Hee hee hee!
Going through that list, I was pleased to see the Little Mermaid Show at HS coming back, and I was disappointed to see that the CommuniCore buildings at EC will "extend the Epcot festivals beyond World Showcase". Also not sure how I feel about Country Bears singing reimagined Disney songs but maybe it will be popular. Now all I can think is it's the year 2010 and "Trampled by Turtles" is the sound you can't escape from.

I love this! They mentioned it at the condo association meeting vaguely. Then they mention it again vaguely like it's new news! Just give us info already and don't bother to keep teasing us with stupid vague posting. To me it's hardly even news right now since they didn't give us anything more than they did really last month.
It's actually worse than the cake bake shop because at least we think it should open by the end of this year 🤣

The Epcot lounge is good. I enjoy time spent there. It's not enough of a reason by itself to go to the park, but it sure is nice to have as a place to hang for a break on a park day.
I don't have any guesses for location. I hope it will be in MK, because that's the park where I most often wish for a quiet place to chill. Using that logic, probably the new lounge winds up in AK, arguably the park that least needs a DVC lounge.

I'm definitely not the target market for the Cake Bake Shop, and I liked ESPN. Potential location for the new DVC lounge?? Does it necessarily have to be in a park? A second floor location in a park that'd be easily converted to useable space? I'm thinking all of those second story facades in Frontierland, Harambe, the original Toy Story Mania entrance area?

I had thought of the Attic @ BWV, but the description says "place for members to relax and recharge during their day of fun". The word "during" makes me think it will be inside a park. My guess is MK, but where? no ideas on that.

I welcome this lounge wherever it is. I do visit the one at Epcot occasionally and I go to the Disneyland one quite often. While not something amazing, it is nice to rest for a bit in the A/C with a cold drink.

My guess is MK, but where? no ideas on that. The attic was the first "not in a park" space I thought of. I think that'd be logistically a pita because (unless they have an outside entrance I don't know about) you'd have to walk the halls of BWV coming and going.

Oh I'm not looking forward to the cake bake shop at all. I've looked at the menus and really it doesn't appeal much to me at all. I did like ESPN except it was really loud. I don't see really how cake bake shop fits on the boardwalk anyway, but what do I know? I had thought of the Attic @ BWV, but the description says "place for members to relax and recharge during their day of fun". The word "during" makes me think it will be inside a park. My guess is MK, but where? no ideas on that. The attic is used still for weddings as far as I am aware. I am not sure they would take away that venue for something like this. They've already lost quite a few locations over the years, and this one was relatively popular for receptions as far as I remember. Also used for other private events outside of weddings.

If the Boardwalk is supposed to be early 1900's Coney Island/Atlantic City, I don't see how it fits. But WDW seems to have vacated story for "what is potentially more profitable."
My other theory--the Boardwalk got a new GM a few years ago (12/21) and this is how a new GM leaves her legacy on the property.

The other obvious non park option is the Poly Tower. Like TOTWL.
But I hope it’s a new in-park lounge, and not simply replacing the Imagination one. If it is a replacement then the Odyssey building is a possibility.

I do not know of any proposed locations. The DVC lounge will be in a Park. Logic says it should be Magic Kingdom, the most attended theme park in the world. This will not be a new build, but a reuse of an existing space.

Seems as good of a use as any for the former Stitch’s Great Escape…

Seems as good of a use as any for the former Stitch’s Great Escape… I was kind of thinking that but also wondering if they would give us a view of something. That is actually a really large location though they could maybe divide some out of it? I really do miss Alien encounter though...
