Yesterday I changed my December 2024 reservation - not sure I'd call it walking - but I found it interesting. When I checked the availability for the 5th of December at BC there wasn't any but when I modified my BC reservation from December 1 to 6 to December 4 to 9 it confirmed the reservation. I thought that was interesting. Now if the Shareholders meeting moves to December 12, I'll be modifying that reservation again.  |

Someone is always complaining about something. Members with large pools of points have an advantage in booking. Okay. I'm fine with that. Those of us with small point packages pay far less in dues.

If the shareholder's meeting moves after the booking window for that date, it does seem suspicious...

You already had the 5th & 6th, no more availability for the 5th yesterday - which is why it didn’t show as available - but you could add the following few days. When was the Shareholder’s meeting last year? Fingers crossed you’ll be able to modify if & when it does move. |

You already had the 5th & 6th, no more availability for the 5th yesterday - which is why it didn’t show as available - but you could add the following few days. When was the Shareholder’s meeting last year? Fingers crossed you’ll be able to modify if & when it does move. It was the 7th last year. (Eta assuming association meeting because shareholder was in April, condo association date is the 12th this year) Not sure she was actually trying to walk but really just modifying. Really what she was seeing was that she did already have the fifth booked, but if you were trying to look to see what was available, it would have looked like there were no rooms available. But it allowed her to modify her dates simply because she already had the fifth in there. Sometimes people move dates around without meaning to walk. I know I sure have. Especially when Southwest Air comes out  |

The shareholder meeting last year was in April. The condo association meeting is December 12, 2024. Announced it on Dec 7, 2023. |

Not so much at Jambo for studios. Hmm, when I looked, every category was available for an entire week, except for the value & club level rooms. The first week is gone for all studios M-F. They could still pop us as Sunday is now there for a standard and savanna. I will probably just wait and waitlist the night I want later on. I was successful this year. |

The shareholder meeting last year was in April. The condo association meeting is December 12, 2024. Announced it on Dec 7, 2023. Yes, the Condo Assoc meeting - Thanks! I'll have to wait until tomorrow to change/walk our BC to cover the 12th as I don't want to borrow points. |
