DVCNews is in partnership with DVCInfo… and the DVC History was created by former banned mouse owner . I expect loyalty prevents many from researching the documented DVC History available from DVCMike on this site he created , With respect for his memory . Thank you DVCMike you are still missed.

Oh....The ties are deeper than that.
Tim....was MO, before he was DVC News. Tim never wanted to run a forum, so moved all those functions to DVCinfo, so he could concentrate on just DVC news. Tim did not offer to MO, because that is where he started and was not going back. DVCinfo was started by DVCmike from MO after he was denied taking over MO, than got mad, stole all the content he could, then tried to permanently delete MouseOwners out of existence. However, just like on Spaceship Eart, there was a backup and Kim/Eric where ever to restore most of MO back.
DVCMike left on his own, but was denied access back to the restored MO site after his destruction.

No site is banned from here, however but I'm very aware of the DVC Mike and what transpired there though. I'm also aware he has passed away and thus lifting then censorship seemed appropriate with those who discussed this site. The partnership with News and Info is pretty recent as well I thought? Too lazy to look up. This site is also not owned nor run by just one and the parent owner of the host can always restore. Partially done to prohibit any foul play. Or if any of us leave, it's easy to pass torches with updates auto done by the creator of these forums vs just one who knows. I've added a lot but anyone can run if I ever wander away from the 7 seas lagoon All said and done Tim has created an excellent news place and I appreciate the data. I interact with him elsewhere on the webs and seems a nice down to earth guy.

I've added a lot but anyone can run if I ever wander away from the 7 seas lagoon I beg to differ with the second part of the statement, while feeling that the first part is a substantial understatement. I daresay that if you were to wander in a different direction, this site would not survive with its current vibrancy. That's why we all have you under binding contract....you just don't know about it
Cheers.

That's why we all have you under binding contract....you just don't know about it Cheers. Awww you're sweet! But I did set this up so that others can do anything they need to do if I cannot be around for whatever reason. The fact that we have the new tower not yet open, means that I will probably not be going away from this site anytime soon at least LOL I do wanna see this contract though I am odd man out..I do not like the skyliner and many say the wait at the end of the night is an issue. We may stay at Riviera once have not yet... I have said I'm not a fan. I do think it is because of my not very good ability to deal with heights. I really struggled and had to sit forward facing the first few rides, otherwise I would actually start to feel anxiety and unease. That did pass fortunately. We did notice that the end of the night the line to get into Riviera from Epcot was quite long. Sometimes cramming a lot of people together in one gondola, which doesn't help my anxieties. My other issue was how many times it did stop as well as how cold it was or not very warm days. We went over spring break, and a couple of her days the high was probably in the 70s and up high it felt really cold to me. Then when it stopped and I was really cold, I was very not happy. I realized these are me things, and many people absolutely love it though. So when I try and talk about things with Riviera versus other resorts, I try not to just say what I feel, but what I think others feel. We are glad we stayed at Riviera, but we probably won't be going back anytime soon. Oddly my child felt the same as me which I didn't expect. My spouse though, would happily stay at Riviera time and time again.

I am odd man out..I do not like the skyliner and many say the wait at the end of the night is an issue. We may stay at Riviera once have not yet... We originally viewed the Skyliner as a 'ride' versus transportation. I was surprised that the height of it wasn't an issue for me. Now we have always ridden it when time wasn't an issue and we've been lucky to never experience a stop. DH resists staying at places so when we cruise I try and catch a night at a venue he has told me he doesn't want to stay. Riviera was one of his 'no' places. We stayed the night before a cruise and he enjoyed it. He wasn't that impressed by Topolino's, just because it's theme doesn't appeal to us but the food was good. He loved Bar Riva and he loved the Skyline entrance. Once again, we used it when there was a huge demand. We did use the Skyliner to return when Epcot closed and didn't not have any waiting issue.

We will use it to go to places, but it is an experience as we could just as well walk to these places. For us, the Skyliner is its own thing separate from a means to get from place to place.
Cheers.

DW loves to look for wildlife wherever we are. Riding over the undeveloped areas while on the Skyliner gives me the opportunity to say, "Right there!!" and annoy her when it's just woods, no animals.

Much like the monorail, Skyliner "crawls" with a drink at each stop are also always a fun time.

Cheers.

One could do Epcot then BW, then Y&BC then hop on over to Riviera. It could be nice. Not sure AoA or Pop has enough to go that way.

My Skyliner versions have typically included Riviera and Caribbean Beach for true stops. Agreed on Art of Animation and Pop, I've actually yet to complete those but have indeed included Beach Club and/or Boardwalk instead. There is always the boat crawl too encompassing Beach Club, Boardwalk, Swan, and Dolphin. Or now we can again do Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridan all via boats as well. All sorts of fun to be had...

I'm thinking, from a true stop standpoint, DHS, Riviera, Caribbean Beach and Epcot. The Boardwalk resorts are sort of redundant with Epcot since the same stop (and too many places). But the abovementioned 4 could work.
I also like the Seven seas Lagoon boat crawl as well.
Cheers.
