I'm thinking, from a true stop standpoint, DHS, Riviera, Caribbean Beach and Epcot. The Boardwalk resorts are sort of redundant with Epcot since the same stop (and too many places). But the abovementioned 4 could work. I also like the Seven seas Lagoon boat crawl as well. Cheers. Whoohoo! That one I've successfully completed. With food throughout and a nice nap at the end, ha. Definitely nothing I would ever do when driving back home that evening.

No the cabins only have one bathroom. There also is a shower and not a tub. No washer & dryer. For us it's not gonna happen. Maybe not even if a son and mom trip. I'd rather spend points on PVB studio to get two showers. I never had any interest in these cabins, so I did not do any research. So I did not know that THEY HAVE NO WASHER AND DRYER? Really? That's completely crazy for multiple reasons.

Not sure AoA or Pop has enough to go that way. Years ago we stayed at All Star Sports and I hit the bar there...I actually really liked it!

So if you want to take a towel, you have to bring one from the cabin and then if you want to wash the chlorine out you have to sit and wait by a washer and dryer at the pool area which kind of defeats the purpose. Not sure AoA or Pop has enough to go that way. Years ago we stayed at All Star Sports and I hit the bar there...I actually really liked it! I have visited both Resorts actually from the Skyliner coming from Epcot. I'll be real, I'm not sure that trip is worth it for anything but I'm not the biggest fan of the Skyliner to begin with LOL

Once I learned there were no washer dryers, it was a “ we will never stay there” moment.

3400 points sold for CFW in August. 45,462 total since it went on sale early this year (1.6% of all points). BLT, AKV, RR, VDH, SSR & OKW all sold more points than CFW last month.
It's a total failure...

Interesting discussion...FWIW: I had dinner w/my DVC guide (who has become a friend) when I was at WDW last week. I asked her about Fort Wilderness sales. She said they are slow, but attributed it to two factors, the biggest being that until just the week before last they (the guides) didn't have a model to show prospective buyers--she said the fact that prospective buyers couldn't see the cabins stopped most of the people she'd been working with from committing to a cabins purchase. She also said that "no one knows" what ownership in a trust means, and that has put off some prospective buyers, too. However, she said the fact that the cabins sleep six is drawing a lot of interest. My own opinion (not hers at all) is that DVC's various big sales are competing for DVC purchase dollars. Apparently there's a big sale going on at SSR now; there was a huge one at OKW a bit ago; and I know I bought GFV and RR during "monster" sales on those two resorts within the last few months. So, is it possible that the dismal first month or two sales data could turn around now that there is a cabin model for prospective buyers to tour? And could the trust ownership issue be cleared up and thus allay some of the reluctance to commit to trust ownership? I have (a) comment(s) on this “my DVC guide friend”. I would never dispute your friendship. But I will dispute the idea that a career sales person ever stops being a sales person. My mom is a saleswoman, and she never ever admits to the real big intractable problems of a thing she is trying to “sell”. If my mom were to sell DVC cabins, she would absolutely focus on things that will be fixed eventually like lack of model and definition of the trust. She would downplay the other real issues. She would do this to everyone(she does this to me all the time..) so don’t feel like your friendship isn’t real. But that’s what it’s like to be friends with a salesperson. I've added a lot but anyone can run if I ever wander away from the 7 seas lagoon I beg to differ with the second part of the statement, while feeling that the first part is a substantial understatement. I daresay that if you were to wander in a different direction, this site would not survive with its current vibrancy. That's why we all have you under binding contract....you just don't know about it
Cheers.
I think this is nicest thing you’ve said! my parents really liked camping at fort wilderness. I think that means I’ll stay in the cabins at some point. It’ll be fine. We will never buy there. We will probably spring to rent a golf cart though… on the other subject.. I love Riviera. We would not buy it resale though. I’m not sure we’re the type to buy anything resale. I absolutely bought it w/o seeing it, but there were videos that I watched. We are also not in the same league as Tom is. We’re happy to stay there at Christmas/NYE/ spring break time, but we love staying at other resorts with the points. 1 bedrooms are cheeper elsewhere

But that’s what it’s like to be friends with a salesperson. Interestingly, I know a guy who told a story about one of his real good friends from way back in elementary school, they grew up and at some point the friend becomes a car salesman. When it's time to buy his first "real" car, he naturally goes to the guy he's known forever. I guess the guy totally screwed him on the deal. He found out afterwards and was shocked. They might be friends still, I don't know. That's all I know of that story!

Right a 1 bedroom with no washer/dryer----why??!!! They are one of the things I *love* about one bedrooms, and this is also why I have a hard time staying at non-DVC properties. I throw in a load of laundry almost every day when I have a one bedroom. A funny and mostly unrelated story: my daughter and I hosted two of my friends at a BLT one bedroom last December. They are... anti-planners, to put it mildly. I sent them a lot of good information about Walt Disney World and about the room in particular. I sent a floor plan and specifically mentioned the washer and dryer at least twice. On the last day of their eight day stay, one of my friends saw me putting in a load of laundry. He was completely astounded. "This room has a washer and dryer!? I want to live *here*!" Since they had not done any laundry during their entire trip, out came a huge pile of dirty clothes into the washer. I don't know that the clothes got very clean because they completely stuffed the machine. Then it took over four hours to dry the clothes... which meant they were four hours late to meet their friend in Orlando. The whole thing gave me a good laugh, and now I have a better understanding of why these two friends of mine are always late to everything.

I've actually said a number of nice things here, but this certainly ranks near the top. Mainly because it is so true and easy to realize and say.
Cheers.
