You will be able to, but not yet. That part of the forum is being worked on by sawickipedia. In the meantime there is his spreadsheet that is still being used. Unfortunately I don’t have a link to hand but I’m sure he or someone else will post it. |

When Kim closed the RTB (Rent/Transfer Board) at MO - I set up a google sheet that lists owners who want to rent/transfer out points. To add yourself to the sheet - use this google form: Sawickipedia's DVC Rental List FormHere's the link to the list where you can see the list of owners who have already listed themselves: Sawickipedia's DVC Rental List |

Totally understand that! I appreciate all the effort it must take to run any kind of site like these. sawickipedia took on that daunting task to make the list after mouseowners shut down the rent page which was completely amazing but man it will be nice to eventually have a thread where people can list confirmed reservations and points and interact together. The Facebook groups that rent points just aren’t the same 😢 |

I’m actually just seeing it now as I don’t remember getting a notification that there were other responses to the thread I started. I’ll have to check my personal settings. Are there any updates to setting up a Rent/Transfer Board here? I find the FB groups to be very hit or miss (mostly miss) with listing points for transfer. TIA! |

You can beat me up for this, but I personally hope that people that are not active on the board are not eligible to participate in any renting or trading of points. Like maybe have a minimum post count before you can use it or something like that. If they want to make money off this board, then at least contribute in other ways. I am sure this will not be a popular opinion for a lot of people, but I have gotten old enough that I don't really care.!!!

We can limit who can post or see boards though. But I'm not sure where we are for a board anyway |

I really do not like the "leap of faith" feeling I would get from renting from other boards. It is such a scary thought that I end up purchasing the cash rooms and spend way too much!

If I were to rent out points, I would also be leery of renting out to someone new on the boards, would prefer to rent to someone that has been around a while.

On Facebook, there are frequent owners that give an “ endorsement “ on other postings that kind of gives the readers a sense of security. If the rental board ever gets up and running, maybe we could have an area with personal testimonies or recommendations.
