Luminous - The symphony of us!
On Dec. 5, enjoy the launch of Disney Live Entertainment’s, “Luminous The Symphony of Us.” This new nighttime spectacular will feature fireworks, fountains, lights, and music. This all-new show highlights the special melodies that, when played in harmony, create the symphony of us.
Disney latest and greatest *cough* *cough* night time show at Epcot is almost ready to go! The barges are all set in place and night time testing is underway.....systems, lights, music and fireworks. The new barges look better than the previous show, or I should say they are less hideous.

Looking forward to this. I'll be there in late February, so it should be up and running with the kinks worked out. It seems I'm in the minority, but I actually enjoyed Harmonious. I agree that the barges were a bit of an eyesore, but I guess I didn't mind as much as others.

Yes, the testing is definitely underway. We were just at BCV and got to hear fireworks a couple of late nights. Looking forward to see what they come up with.

I hope it is an improvement. The barges are still ugly, but I am still struggling with the loss of Illuminations—primarily because of the utter failures that have followed it. If the show is good, I’m sure my tolerance of the interruptive nature of the barges will improve…maybe.

Seems like I’m usually having a different viewpoint than the majority so nice to see someone else liking it. Hopefully the next one is good too. |

Having said that, I am a fan of balancing nostalgia with new. Illuminations needed at least a reboot. I do understand the criticisms of Harmonious, but I still enjoyed the show. Fantasmic is still my favorite! |

Epcot 4 Ever was pretty good. A little too short and was not fond of A Whole New World ending. But, Harmonious was ugh. It never touched my heart. Very disjointed and an eyesore. |

I'm actually excited about this show. We generally don't stay for any of the fireworks, etc. I couldnt tell you the difference in any of them, or what they've called, but this one sounds like it'll have really good music!

Is the area between/behind the 2 gift shops at the junction of Future World and World Showcase (or whatever they're called now) a designated HA area? When I was there last January. it was, even though a CM had told me that there were no dedicated HA areas. Fortunately a friend pointed me to it, and it was the most beautiful view. Hoping we can go to that area again.

I am hoping the barges go away once the show starts. They aren't near as bad as the Harmonisucks ones though.
Sorry, I hated Harmonious. The barges just made it worse. We walked away while looking at it because it was just awful and riding Nemo and SSE was more fun (extra hours).
As long as this isn't blocking my views during the day it will be a win compared to the last one. I really enjoyed Illuminations but I also think Epcot Forever is cute too. So I'm not uber picky.
