My Family gave the show mixed reviews. It reminds me of Illuminations. We all really loved Harmonious so it's hard to replace, but I think this grows on you.
Tip: watch it from a place where you can see Spaceship Earth. It plays a role in the show.

So....I was in town this past weekend. I thought we were going to see the fireworks. But after 20k steps during the day, the girls were done.

My wife and I saw it on the 14th. It was...ok. Lots of colored water fountains I guess? I don't know, I guess it didn't grab hold of me like some of the other shows. I would say Harmonious was better.

I think they did a good job of not throwing IP in your face. Some of the fireworks were really good. I liked the fountains. The Toy Story section wasn't a good fit.
Overall, it's not as thrilling, spectacular or emotional as the other parks' shows, but it's good.

Overall, it's not as thrilling, spectacular or emotional as the other parks' shows, but it's good. Ya know, I think that this is really key. The old show with the splitting globe (was that Illuminations or something else?) was not IP-based. It had images that were not IP, as I recall, and told its own story. Sheez, we get enough IP thrown into our faces everywhere in the parks. They should make this something different. Seems that they did a partial job here.
In May we're staying at VGF, so we may or may not want to stay late at Epcot for fireworks. More likely to wait until the BWV trip in October.
Cheers.
