Love Wine bar George. Was their first time with my daughter. Check out day but later flight.so we usually do DS before heading out. It was not busy so no reservations needed. Service, attention to what we liked wine wise was great. I’m a red girl, she’s a white girl. We did a flight, and food. Went again with daughter and husband, we were seated on outside balcony. Again everything was excellent, though server was not as nice. But it was still good, she tried I guess to the best of her personality. Chef Arts. That’s a toss up but will go at some point again. Went the first time with husband, daughter and now her ex bf. It was great. Went on a solo trip with daughter and it was a hot mess. They were going to be closed the next day for a private event, so I’m not sure if they let their best people off that day… First send back was the fried chicken sandwich my daughter had that had grizzly stuff (lack of what to call it) in the middle. Yes people even boneless, skinless chicken breasts need to be cleaned and trimmed. She hates to be ‘that one’ that complains as she works in retail management. But I made her. They brought out another, and as she started eating she saw the role had mold. Not a little piece, more like most of the role. Ugh here she had to call them over again. No she was not interested in another, appetite lost. Everything we ordered was basically the same as previous trip. Even the drinks had wilted leaf unripened strawberries, the Mac and chees ( I like well done/crispy fries pizza or toppings) completely overcooked. The best was I gave my DVC card for discount, I never got it back. Didn’t realize till the day we were leaving and having lunch prior to going to airport. At that point I would call when home. That was several phone calls until I finally got a manager who found it locked in their safe! At this point it was almost a week later, you would think they would send it to DVC or contact them. If I didn’t stop for lunch before heading out it could have been months before I realized it was gone. So due to all that they did send me a GC that 3,4 years later I’ve yet to use. I will go back hoping to have the meal I experienced on my first trip there. Boathouse. Very enjoyable, good food. We were seated at a table against the water. On a very cold and windy night. There was no way I would get through my meal if I stayed there. It was frigid.they moved us with our same server inward against the wall away from the water, with an outdoor Hester near us.I honestly don’t remember what we had but do remember we enjoyed it. The Electric what ever it’s called. Over rated in my opinion. I’ve had better burgers elsewhere and fries. We were there for lunch. Cool looking place but the food is good/okay. Nothing to wow about.not bad, but not a redo on my list. Chef Arts isn't really my jam because I'm not a fan of fried chicken but their fried catfish was good, although a bit salty (I think they put salt in their breading from the way it tasted).

The problem I am reading is people are paying close to $100 to eat at Art Smiths. For that I will dine at Wine Bar George. Can anyone corroborate that price?

The bar at the Boathouse is a great place to have a drink and split a meal annd outdoors at Raglan Road, as a plus both places are walk up only. They are also getting back into special meals such as the 12 Beers of Christmas at Morimoto’s or the drink and food pairings at the Edison and Enzo’s. Paddle fish use to do a really fun Chef’s pairing and demo in the upstairs private area but unfortunately those haven’t returned yet. Jaleo has a decent deal when Orlando is doing the dinning for 30 promotion that typically happens in the fall. It’s worth it to follow some of the places on facebook to see if they happen to be doing something while you’re visiting.

I thought it would be fun to start a thread about the different places to eat and any reviews concerning them. Wine Bar George We really enjoyed our dinner here. We ate upstairs, more private. The Charcuterie board is fantastic. You do need a reservation. Walk ups were turned away the last we dined. One of our favorites, too. If you don't mind eating at the bar, that can be an option without a reservation. Also, you can make a reservation on Open Table.

On our trip the past two weeks, we ate at the Boathouse for the very first time and loved it. We sat outside on the deck and it was a nice day. The food was amazing and the drinks as well. They have a drink that came with a mini rubber duck floating in it and I loved that. I got to bring the duck home too. Our waiter was fabulous. We plan to go back in September we enjoyed it so much. We've been to Boathouse half a dozen times for both lunch and dinner. We've had great meals every time, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is very nice. It's on our list for places to eat on every trip. Same here. We always end up at the Boathouse at least once during the trip, even if just for drink and appetizers. Brunch is fantastic, and you can make reservations on Open Table.

But most trips. Drinks and lobster bisque on the dock.
Cheers.

I do not think so but at a TS we usually only order drinks and the main entrée - I think it ran around $40/pp before tip.

For you foodie snobs ( that would include me), here is a great video from a popular blogger on WDW Charcuterie boards. The first three restaurants mentioned are at Disney Springs. They include great comparison commentary and prices!

I am now looking forward to trying their charcuterie board. We are FL residents and gave up our APs this year in protest to how much is now lacking in the parks. We have a resort only stay at VWL in May to see the new refurb and will also check out the board at Territory Lounge. Laura

They include great comparison commentary and prices! I’ve had all seven…. Though both Le Cellier and Territory Lounge have changed theirs since my last visit. Wine Bar George, while excellent, is definitely not worth $61. Jock Lindsey always a favorite for sure. Thanks for posting!

We hit House of Blues about every other trip.
The food is good, but for us it's really all about the atmosphere - we're big music fans. The wife and I love doing a date night there, then moving out to the front porch for adult beverages and live music.

The wife and I love doing a date night there, then moving out to the front porch for adult beverages and live music. This was somewhat magical for us during the pandemic. When so many things were shut down, they did have someone playing outside and we sat across the way at the beer place just to listen to live music again.
I'm partial to the HoB in New Orleans, but this location does look like fun.
Cheers.

Big fan of Raglan Road here (also like their fish 'n chips quick serve place next door--can't quite remember its name--maybe Cook/s?)....also love Earl of Sandwich for quick, tasty and inexpensive (by Disney standards) eating. After reading lots of rave reviews about Blaze Pizza, we gave it a try on our January trip a couple of weeks ago. None of us liked it. The pizzas were certainly edible, but not to our taste (unanimously we agreed that we like Papa Johns better)....very crispy crusts and stingy w/cheese....we also LOVE Polite Pig....such good barbeque! Another "departure from the norm:" I've now been to Chef Art's Homecomin' three times and didn't like it any of the 3 times....will give it a pass going forward....all 3 of my experiences were like the PP's who encountered not such good/fresh food, not so well prepared. Don't understand all the raves about the place....and for dessert nothing beats a Ghiardelli hot fudge sundae, altho they're getting really really pricey, especially for someone (like me, usually, but not always) who doesn't want the whole thing...I still miss Wolfgang Puck's place on the West Side, w/their fabulous macadamia nut chicken....but alas it is no more....Jaleo's is really good here in the Washington DC area, and I try not to go to local places when I'm at Disney....the Tex Mex place at the Landing, Frontera Cocina, is fabulous, especially for their guac....
