Big fan of Raglan Road here (also like their fish 'n chips quick serve place next door--can't quite remember its name--maybe Cook/s?)....also love Earl of Sandwich for quick, tasty and inexpensive (by Disney standards) eating. After reading lots of rave reviews about Blaze Pizza, we gave it a try on our January trip a couple of weeks ago. None of us liked it. The pizzas were certainly edible, but not to our taste (unanimously we agreed that we like Papa Johns better)....very crispy crusts and stingy w/cheese....we also LOVE Polite Pig....such good barbeque! Another "departure from the norm:" I've now been to Chef Art's Homecomin' three times and didn't like it any of the 3 times....will give it a pass going forward....all 3 of my experiences were like the PP's who encountered not such good/fresh food, not so well prepared. Don't understand all the raves about the place....and for dessert nothing beats a Ghiardelli hot fudge sundae, altho they're getting really really pricey, especially for someone (like me, usually, but not always) who doesn't want the whole thing...I still miss Wolfgang Puck's place on the West Side, w/their fabulous macadamia nut chicken....but alas it is no more....Jaleo's is really good here in the Washington DC area, and I try not to go to local places when I'm at Disney....the Tex Mex place cat the Landing, Frontera Cocina, is fabulous, especially for their guac.... Frontera Cocina ……I need to look that up. Thanks!

Ok, good thread.
Jaleo... We have 2 here in N.VA and DC area and both are good if pricy.
Morimoto is a must go if in DS for us. We love the Sticky Ribs and the Boa Buns!
Boathouse is solid and consistent. I would say nothing stands out but nothing is bad either.
Polite Pig is good. Not great. I Smoke a lot of barbque here at home (Ribs, Butts, and Briskets...Although sometimes salmon) and I like Polite Pig, but not as good as home made.
Raglan Road is fun. Food is good, Drinks good, Entertainment is excellent.
We used to do House of Blues when our daughter was littler but their food got more Applebeeish to us and salt content too high.

ok, have yet to eat at Morimoto, just didn’t know what to try. Maybe I’ll put it back on the list since you recommended the Sticky ribs and buns. Now, what do you suggest for someone ( my DH) who doesn’t like anything but a hamburger? Ok, good thread. Jaleo... We have 2 here in N.VA and DC area and both are good if pricy. Now, what do you suggest for someone ( my DH) who doesn’t like anything but a hamburger? Well, D-Luxe Burger, of course!

Frontera Cocina ……I need to look that up. Thanks! Frontera Cocina is one of the restaurants by Rick Bayless who has a cooking show on PBS and you can find him on youtube...been watching him for years and I love it, so we had to go to his restaurant. We just walked in one weekday at like 4pm and it was nearly empty. We only did guac and other appetizers but we both really enjoyed it, and my wife does NOT like much Mexican food. Or anything spicy. We also had red sangria which was awesooommmmmmmmmmm

I have to admit that, while I eat plenty of food , I'm not much of a foodie. Love Raglan Road for the entertainment and the bartenders. Love Boathouse for the dock view and the bartenders. Love TRex and Rainforest Cafe for the themes.

Seems you are well versed on “ bartenders”. Maybe we should have another thread started on “Favorite Bars at Disney Springs”! I have to admit that, while I eat plenty of food , I'm not much of a foodie. Love Raglan Road for the entertainment and the bartenders. Love Boathouse for the dock view and the bartenders. Love TRex and Rainforest Cafe for the themes.

Love TRex and Rainforest Cafe for the themes. Also not a foodie… Raglan Rd used to be a favorite, but has fallen off the radar for us. Last couple of times, the food was only so-so. And I find that loud noises bother me more than they did, pre-pandemic. Maybe because I’m out of practice dealing with large crowds? Dunno. Pretty sure we are done with that one, though. We do love the dinosaurs at T-Rex, I think because Brandon was always such a fanatic. The food is okay, and I can always find something non-offensive to eat. We will definitely hit Ghirardelli’s again for ice cream, though! I haven’t looked at the menu for Polite Pig, but I don’t eat BBQ beef or pork. My parents had a BBQ catering business when I was a teenager, and I won’t touch the stuff now. Just the thought kills my appetite. BBQ chicken I can occasionally do. And I’ll cook country style ribs. But NO pulled pork, sliced brisket, etc. Basically, give me a hand-dipped corn dog and an ice cream cone, and I’m fine!

The last few trips, Disney Springs is so crazy crowded, it feels more so than the parks, so we have visited less and less. However, we have enough trips under our belt, and have eaten at so many of the DS establishments. It probably helps that we travel with a large family group, and they all like to try different places.
Jaleo- we love the food there, service can be hit or miss. We order a nice variety to share. Love the endive and goat cheese bites. Polite Pig- good BBQ and they have quite a few interesting sides to choose from. D-Luxe- husband is a burger fan, and likes grabbing one here from time to time. I enjoy the Southern Burger, and they will wrap any of theirs in lettuce if you like instead of a bun. Art Smith's- consistently good. It's a lot of food though, definitely sharable portion sizes. Cooke's of Dublin- quick service for Raglan Road. They have a very tasty buffalo chicken sandwich. Sharable portion sizes. Boathouse- consistently good, but I think pricey. The Lobster Roll is very nice, though $$. Hard to find a good one here in TX. Morimoto quick service window- has limited hours. Good spot if you want to try their famed ribs, ramen and takoyaki without needing a reservation. Everglazed Donuts- grab a few for breakfast the next day. Over the top donuts. And cereal milk! Edison- food was okay. Drinks good. Live music was the best part for me. Maria and Enzos- I'm not a huge fan of Italian, so this was just okay for me. The rest of the family enjoyed it. Loved the actual restaurant though. Raglan Road- it has been years since we have eaten here, but I remember loving the meal and the entertainment.

For you foodie snobs ( that would include me), here is a great video from a popular blogger on WDW Charcuterie boards. The first three restaurants mentioned are at Disney Springs. They include great comparison commentary and prices! I’ve had all seven…. Though both Le Cellier and Territory Lounge have changed theirs since my last visit. Wine Bar George, while excellent, is definitely not worth $61. Jock Lindsey always a favorite for sure. Thanks for posting! Color me shocked The one at Jock’s is fun. I only wish I could eat them.

Now, what do you suggest for someone ( my DH) who doesn’t like anything but a hamburger? Well, D-Luxe Burger, of course! They are delicious here. They do have special burgers too and show up on mobile order. I’m sure they are in store too, but I find sometimes the app is less overwhelming than ordering in person. DH had the pizza burger and loved it. I had the French onion soup burger (currently available) on a day trip with DH and it was amazing. Very messy, but that almost makes it taste better. I did have a headache the next day…that’s another story…but it was worth it. I also noticed that the serving size of their large fries has gone back to the good ole days. It’s in the $7-8 range and might be more now. I am sure there were complaints to bring it back to it’s pervious size. Their fries are delicious and they have different dipping sauces as well. I know several people who have had their milkshakes and those are yummy too. Even with mobile order they give you a tracker to put on the table that has to go on the mat. I wasn’t paying attention and had mine off to the side and it doesn’t work. I missed the fine print…it’s not so fine either. The chicken sandwich is decent here too although deep fried. But, it’s healthy at Disney, right?

City Works Pour House.
We have been here a lot. Open Table allows for late bookings too. They have a brunch menu. The fact that we have been here a lot and haven’t had anything that was not tasty is a win. Their prices are not over the top. It’s loud with the TVs, but I find most places are loud at Disney and not at Disney. They took off the filet sliders so I’ll be hunting for a new go to there, but they have a menu that DH wants to order 4-5 entrees. (He could eat all those too!) He likes their burgers too.
Like any place, I’m sure they have off days, but we’ve been very pleased.
It’s nice in the late afternoon/evenings with the parking by Cirque too since it’s very close if people have a car. It’s across from Cirque.

Now, what do you suggest for someone ( my DH) who doesn’t like anything but a hamburger? I cannot imagine he would not like the Sticky Ribs. Honestly my daughter is very picky (She doesn't even like Mac and Cheese). She does like the sushi. But the Sticky Ribs are very good. Also, hey may like the Peking Duck. Basically like a roasted chicken with sweet basting. Ok, good thread. Jaleo... We have 2 here in N.VA and DC area and both are good if pricy. Morimoto is a must go if in DS for us. How do you get the tracker and your drinks when you mobile order? 2-3 years ago, D-Luxe had a "secret" menu in the mobile order that included some very nice BLTs...the bacon was crazy thick and the bread was thick and toasted as only a restaurant could do it. I wish they would bring that back.
