I thought it would be fun to start a thread about the different places to eat and any reviews concerning them.
Wine Bar George
We really enjoyed our dinner here. We ate upstairs, more private. The Charcuterie board is fantastic. You do need a reservation. Walk ups were turned away the last we dined.

While we enjoy many of the places at DS, when at WDW I tend to focus on places that are more heavily and uniquely themed, rather than just being good dining experiences.
For us, the two that we keep returning to are Raglan Road and the Edison. And, at both, when you visit and where you sit really impact the quality of the experience. At the Edison, visiting at night (when the musicians are playing) and sitting downstairs (where you can see the stage) are a must. In both place the food is quite good and the drink selections are strong. At Raglan, a seat in the main dining area -- not the wings -- is worth waiting for.

On our trip the past two weeks, we ate at the Boathouse for the very first time and loved it. We sat outside on the deck and it was a nice day. The food was amazing and the drinks as well. They have a drink that came with a mini rubber duck floating in it and I loved that. I got to bring the duck home too. Our waiter was fabulous. We plan to go back in September we enjoyed it so much.
Now… some here will likely disown me as a MO after I say this next part. We finally went to Gideons after all the hype. Sorry to report, not a fan at all. We tried 3 cookies and did not care for any of them. We actually threw most of them away. They seem under cooked and since I am not a fan of cookie dough, guessing that is why. But the virtual queue to get the cookies was 4 hours, so it appears I am the anomaly that did not care for it.

Our 1 and only experience at the Boathouse was fantastic and are definitely planning a return trip soon.
Still haven’t managed to get a Gideon’s cookie mainly because of the 4 hour virtual queue. If I want something sweet, which is rarely the case, I’d rather run into Amorette’s to grab and go.

We've been to Boathouse half a dozen times for both lunch and dinner. We've had great meals every time, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is very nice. It's on our list for places to eat on every trip.

Splittsville - This is our go to place to sit down and have a beer and pizza! Never a wait. Very reasonable prices. You can sit inside or out. They also take the Disney Rewards card for payment!

Polite Pig. End of story. Although the lobster bisque at Boathouse is nice. We've never done a full meal there.
Cheers.

One time we went to D-Luxe Burger when it was fairly new and neither of us liked what we ended up with. I talked her into going again a couple months ago and both of us loved it.
Wetzel's Pretzels hee hee
(using my innate skill at taking a conversation that started at "Wine Bar George" and "Boathouse", bringing it down to quick burgers and a pretzel)
Oh we did go to Rick Bayless's place one, did a walk-in at 4pm and we were just about the only ones in there, we only did apps, though. And sangria which was great.

My favorite is Chef Art's. LOVE this sort of comfort food.
I'm also a big fan of Jack Lindsey's Hangar Bar, although not really a full service restaurant.
Also like D-Luxe Burger...and Sprinkles lol!

We also like to enjoy places with a theme so places like the Polite Pig we tend to walk on. Years ago, like 12!, we ate at Paradiso and DH still talks about their burger but it's really just a restaurant so we've never returned. Our 'go to' at Disney Springs has been the Raglan Road. DH loves the theme and their wine has gotten better of the years. Our other two repeat performers are TRex and Boathouse. We have tried the Hanger Bar however we haven't cared for any of their beverages. Georges Wine Bar doesn't appeal to DH, nor the Edison (even though the last time we were there we had a great time).

My husband had the steak and eggs and it was a mountain of food and flavor. SO much food. I had the Burrata, it was much better than I expected as well as the Wake-up Call, an espresso based cocktail, absolutely delicious.

On my first visit, our server recommended the Coriander Yellowfin Tuna and it was so fantastic, its the only thing I order there now.
