The DPB article does not include the word "cash" at all. The Feb Membership Magic Insider email sent out by DVC today does mention they are cash reservations. Oh no so cash only? Really? I don’t recall cash bookings only on any DVC resort when open for members to book. Unless they are to release the points chart any day. I am not so concerned about VDH and restrictions. But I am when it comes to Poly2. I am looking to maybe purchase at Poly, going back and forth with resale or direct. On another website lots of chatter that Poly2 and VDH are going to be both restricted. Something about how Poly2 was first announced with their wording? Wording was expansion... so not sure why they think restrictions based on that. |

I'll wait till they open it up for points booking. Our points are to save a little bit on the rooms, not shell out more cash.

Will definitely buy resale if it is. It was labeled expansion to even DVC CMs. It was announced while I was at WDW and chatted with DVC about it at Polynesian. We'll add on or sell old PVB and buy new. Given PVB is consistently higher than VGF in points now due to lowering bungalows they need it. |

So does anyone think the Grand California resale prices will drop if the new Disneyland DVC price comes in around $225 a point?

No way VGC resale will still command $265/pt with VDH opening at $217/ with incentives ( just a guess but an example). |

In looking at the pics, including the view of the building, I am getting the impression that studios won't have a balcony.

I am thinking that the Duo studios may be very similar to the Tower Studios at the Riiviera, only a murphy bed.

New email from Disney. On the promotional literature it now says “ could expire as early as January 31, 2074”!

I’m in. We’re always short on points and foresee more DL trips in our future. If for some reason they don’t restrict resale then I’ll buy some more resale instead but I’m betting bookings will be restricted so will definitely be buying. How many will depend on the deals they offer.
Btw- thanks for continuing the mouse owners discussion forum. Information from mouse owners got me renting and then buying into dvc.
