Not buying — but we sure look forward to using our points there! As SoCal folks, we tend to book 1-3 nights each month at the Grand Cal now … and are so hopeful for even better availability with the new DLH tower! Yippie!

I wonder how the new VDH will affect resale prices at VGC? This will be an interesting scenario. And May have implications withe Poly 1 when Poly 2 opens. The real question I have is will both VDH and Poly 2 have resale restrictions? This will be a major factor in overall pricing and resales going forward.

If separate, it will probably have restrictions. The wording has stated expansion which points to same, and that's what some CMs assumed when they were told. Hope it is true. However due to Riviera disappointments it may or may not continue with DLR or WDW in the future. What they did at RR does not have to hold true for future. |

So if reservations start March 15, They would have to announce soon! I mean you are talking about 2023, right? With the DVC announcement, much will be revealed with regards to Poly2. So really really want to know if this will have resale restrictions! |

They can easily add it to the existing association like VGF which IMO was more telling about the state of WDW. They can make choices either way. TBH restrictions at DLR are not as big as elsewhere. I'm shocked about no sales though. Rooms look nice to me though. |

Duo studios themed to The Jungle Book
Studios (sleeps 4) themed to Sleeping Beauty or Tiana
1&2 beds themed to Fantasia or Tiana
GV themed to Bambi, Frozen and Moana.
Must admit, I’m not too keen on all these different themes.
DVC Members booking opens March 15th (via Member Services)
DL Magic Key holders booking opens March 16th
Public bookings open March 17th.
That’s not much head start for DVC Members to book. And I assume those are for cash bookings, unless they’re going to release a points chart very soon. But would they do points bookings before it goes on sale? I might be wrong but this seems to be different to how Riviera bookings started.
I hope we get details soon, and an announcement as to when sales will start.

I don’t recall cash bookings only on any DVC resort when open for members to book. Unless they are to release the points chart any day. I am not so concerned about VDH and restrictions. But I am when it comes to Poly2. I am looking to maybe purchase at Poly, going back and forth with resale or direct. On another website lots of chatter that Poly2 and VDH are going to be both restricted. Something about how Poly2 was first announced with their wording? |
