Oh gosh yes! I'm suprised that we made it to this point without selling anything. 15yo still loves Disney! Now we're into girlfriend stage and driving so travel times are far more limited. After HS it will change again and then after that.... I am being mindful of how I buy so when I give some points over that blue card status will remain for all. I'm getting that too. Even in March most I talked to were saying that and of course fingers crossed. Last year Guides were told expansions as well. But we'll see. I will say PVB resales are not lasting as long as others. Girl! I just can't look at that everytime I log in! You're gonna have to make Bubba go away! The glare is hurting my eyes... I second this!  |

So something to think about here. DVC removed VGF direct sales right before they declared the expansion of VGF. Even though touted sold out, it never really was. You could get points direct when they became available. I know, I bought 60 points direct right before they declared the sales of VGF  . If DVC continues to sell Poly1 direct, that tells me that Poly2 will be its own association. So far, Disney has not closed sales for Poly1. |

The sales stopping happened only for a handful of months. In case people forget there were questions at first about new association or not due to RR restrictions in the fall until we were told in 2022 that they'd be same association. So they didn’t have a pool of points to sell, but they would probably ROFR some points to fill the requests. There was no list, just a conversation with my guide. Funny how after an hour of leaving my guides desk, he found some points  |

I agree re. pricing. I was considering a small resale add on at VGF prior to the new section going on sale. I ended up adding on direct bc the prices were better than resale. Resale pricing was, in part, due to the inability to regularly purchase direct too, I think. They did allow, but there were times when direct seekers were told no, or had a much longer wait. Rather inconsistent there and that allowed for seller's market at most times. Otherwise they were artificially higher than most. |
